Komensky Park?

Tim

Watch me burn this one in there just like Ro...uhhhh.... Ta....uhhhh.... Ji..uhh... like....welll...ummmm...well....I'm kinda new here ummmm I like the Cubs too.

Ok, let me explain something….  Most of the editors of Conservative Bad Boys are traditional Chicagoans.  We remember where we were on January 26, 1986.  We remember seeing the stack of cars on the nail in Berwyn before they took it down.  Speaking of Berwyn, we know who Richard Koz is too.  We are in denial that Marshall Fields was changed to Macky’s or Mickey’s or whatever those New York a-holes want to call it.  Even though we would never use it, we thought it was horse sh– what happened to Meigs Field.  It is not Willis Tower to us.  Now….we were not happy when US Cellular bought it and changed the name to US Cellular Field, but we grew to accept it.  You can call it US Cellular Field, The Cell, or even by it’s true Chicago name – Comiskey park.

When you try to tell us you’re authentic Chicagoan and you call it Komensky park….no more pizza for you.

I am printing a retraction. That store that used to be called Marshall Fields is certainly not called “Mickey’s”. Mickey’s would be the excellent authentic Chicago hot dog stand in Worth, amongst other suburbs of Chicago. My apologies to the good people of Mickey’s. May you one day know English as well as you know sweet relish. Even if you don’t and still make those hot dogs it’s all good.
